Since its establishment, the Arts Education Center at Shenzhen University has focused on arts education exchange and community arts education services. It has launched the "Exploring Arts Education" series of lectures by renowned scholars and the "Shenzhen Citywide Arts Education Lectures" to promote arts education. It has also been invited to participate in cultural literacy enhancement training for primary and secondary school principals in Hong Kong and Macau by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It has guided students in successfully applying for the national-level "Arts Infiltration Spring Flute Plan" for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship projects. Additionally, it has organized three editions of the "Chinese Traditional Folk Song New Singer Competition" (a national event) and campus exhibitions on the promotion of Chinese excellent traditional culture and arts education. It has also planned and organized the "First Earth Plant Dyeing Art Festival," themed posters for the "Dunhuang Regeneration Art Exhibition," "Fish-RoeDyeing: Millennium Dyeing Art Innovation Design Special Exhibition", "Yan Paper Art Exhibition," and "Yi Embroidery Innovation Design Assistance" workshop exchanges. Particularly emphasizing cross-border cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong and arts education exchanges, it has established the "Bay Area Youth Arts Education Innovation Practice Base" and "Bay Area Youth Reading Drama Festival," and hosted events such as the "YunsongNanshan Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Cultural and Art Exchange Concert."

It focuses on the integration of arts education at all levels, combining the "Awaken Your Ears" project with the 4:30 PM arts education classes in primary and secondary schools. It has conducted over 40 art reading and promotion activities in community schools, organized more than 20 lectures on ethnic music at the Shenzhen Traditional Music Culture Education Base, provided training for over 10 primary and secondary school teachers, and held seven high-quality art events on campuses. Its "Li Yue Xian Ge" four-stringed instrument has been introduced to over 200 primary and secondary schools, and several experts have praised its cultural innovation and representation on the "XuexiQiangguo" platform. For eight consecutive years, it has offered the "Teaching Strategies and Methods for Educational Drama Teaching" course to over 2,000 primary and secondary school teachers in Shenzhen.
