The Seoul International Dance Competition in South Korea is an important international art event in Asia. Aiming to discover outstanding dance talents from various countries and promote professional artistic exchanges among different types of dance, such as ballet, modern dance, and folk dance, it is one of the authoritative events that receive extensive attention from the international dance community.

On July 17, 2025, the solo dance work The Traveler selected and presented by the Dance Department of the College of Music and Dance, Division of arts, szu won the "Chairman of the Executive Committee Award" in the Young Choreographer Group at the 22nd Seoul International Dance Competition in South Korea.
