Original Multimedia Short - play Soul - leaving Street by SZU's Acting Department Debuts at Liangshan International Drama Festival

The Liangshan International Drama Festival started in 2019 and was jointly initiated by 24 Chinese and foreign artists and cultural scholars, including Pu Cunxin, Hao Rong, Li Ting, and Wang Xiaoying. Over the past seven years, the festival has welcomed 1,375 performances of 400 drama works in more than 20 drama forms from 38 countries around the world. It has been developed into a cultural IP that combines professionalism, popularity, and internationalism, and has become the only western drama event among China's winter drama festivals.

After seven years of hard work, this year's Liangshan International Drama Festival gathered 110 works from 8 countries. With the core concept of "returning to the original intention of drama and gazing at the essence of life", the festival was held in Xichang City, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province from November 7th to 16th. During the event, more than 300 performances of 110 Chinese and foreign drama works were presented. Through the diversified integration mode of "drama + nature + tourism + academia", a cultural and artistic event based in Liangshan and facing the world was created.The original multimedia short - play Soul - leaving Street by the Acting Department of the Division of arts, szu was successfully selected for this grand event. As one of nearly a hundred selected plays, it was performed simultaneously with 15 specially - invited plays from 8 countries, including China, Spain, the United States, Georgia, Italy, Brazil, France, and Russia.
