Training Features

The  Choreography program at the Music College was established in 2001 and is the first undergraduate program in Dance Choreography in Guangdong Province. In 2012, the program established a Master's research direction in "Dance Choreography Theory and Practice" under the Music and Dance Studies, becoming one of the first universities in South China to offer a Master's program in dance. After more than 20 years of scientific planning and steady development, the Dance Department has established a "people-oriented, holistic education" goal in its educational practice and has formed an integrated teaching system characterized by "Creation, Learning, and Research". In the future, under the national strategic concept and framework of the "Dual Zone Driving," this program will continue to rely on the integrated background of various arts within the Art Department, aiming to cultivate dance professionals with international vision, Chinese character, innovative spirit, and a commitment to serving society.
