Training Objectives
Visual Communication Design is characterized by interdisciplinary integration and the industry development trend of closely combining design, technology, and business. The program aims to cultivate designers and researchers who are human-centered, culturally aware, and artistic, with a willingness to explore the possibilities of innovative design in the context of technology and new media. The goal is to develop designers and researchers who have a sense of responsibility for social design and can contribute to the creation of responsible, socially impactful solutions. The program focuses on nurturing three core capabilities: systematic social innovation ability, strong professional communication skills, and advanced design aesthetic abilities. Graduates will be trained to work as senior creative, cross-disciplinary, and application-oriented professionals in industries such as illustration, typography, packaging, information design, new media advertising, interactive design, brand integration, publishing and editing, cultural promotion, design education, and in related enterprises, government cultural management departments, and cultural institutions. They will be equipped to engage in visual information design, development, operations, and management.
