The Best Material Application Award of 2021 YINGER PRIZE ——Won by Graduate of Division of Arts

Cai Gaowei, a 2021 graduate of the Fashion Design Department, Division of Arts, stood out from more than 800 contestants from famous fashion design colleges at home and abroad, and made it to the finals. On the live broadcast release show on October 15, he won the Best Material Application Award.

The final release show of the 2021 YINGER PRIZE——Global Emerging Womenswear Designers Invitational Tournament was held at 19:30 on October 15 in Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning. This year, the competition received more than 800 entries from well-known fashion colleges from more than 10 countries and regions. In the end, 14 independent designers and 15 college graduates won the awards.

With independent design language, a group of strength independent designers emerged. Some of them learned from Dior's chief menswear designers, some used to work for Giambattista Valli, and some won Jimmy Choo's awards for emerging designer brands. It is believed that inspirtaion would spring up in the combination of multi-cultural fashion exploration and business thinking of whole link.

It is reported that since the first YINGER PRIZE——Global Emerging Womenswear Designers Invitational Tournament in 2019, YINGER PRIZE has developed into a professional and influential event platform from the perspective of design, creativity, business and market.
